Abstract The practice of anaesthesiology is not without risks to the anaesthesiologist. The operating room, in which anaesthesiologists spend most of their time, is regarded as an unhealthy workplace due to the potential risks it offers. (107) In this assay, we propose an analysis of the occupational hazards that anaesthesiologists are exposed in their daily practice which include exposure to infections such as viral hepatitis C and B , tuberculosis and HIV , known scientifically AIDS , in addition to poor myalgia and bone ache, and allergy that may result from the use of Medical gloves that contain latex, and exposure to radiation such as X- rays , MRI and exposure to laser fumes and environmental pollutants due to anaesthetic gases , as well as extreme fatigue suffered by anaesthesiologists. Thus, Control of occupational hazards to which anaesthesiologists are exposed daily is necessary in order to develop an appropriate workplace and minimize risks to the good practice of anaesthesiology. This contributes to decrease absenteeism, improve patients’ care and quality of life of anaesthesiologists. (108 Assay items: - I. Infection. II. Chemical hazards. III. Physical hazards. IV.
