Abstract
This study showed that pathologic changes in SD-OCT coresponding to specific pattern of AMD in FA . Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the leading cause of severe visual impairment in elderly people so its very important to treat it . Most notably , appearance of drusen is a risk factor for AMD because it cause separation of RPE from underlying BM and appearance of new blood vessel . RPE present in between photoreceptor layer and choroidal vasculature so neovascularisation appear sub RPE or subretinal causing wet form of AMD.
