Abstract The present work was carried out in Fayoum Governorate during two successive years (2009-2011) to study the insect pests and their natural enemies by using three types of traps. According to the survey of insects carried out using light trap in the first year, 26616 specimens belong to 22 families related to 7 orders were collected .In the second year, 6444 specimens belong to to 19 families related to 7 orders were collected. Using Sweeping net, at Dar El- ramad Farm,1476 specimens related to 5 orders were collected at Ibshaway Farm, 2039 specimens related to 3 orders were collected. In the second year ,at Dar Elramad Farm, 1510 specimens related to 6 orders were collected at Ibshaway Farm, 1678 specimens related to 3 orders were collected. Malaise trap, at Dar El- ramad farm, 206 specimens related to 5 orders were collected. In the second year, 298 specimens related to 4 orders were collected. A total of 20 species of Chalcidoidea in 19 genera and 5 families (Chalcididae, Eulophidae, Eurytomidae, Pteromalidae and Torymidae) was collected from Egyptian clover fields in Fayoum Governorate. Five species represent new records for the Egyptian fauna, Hockeria unicolor Walker and Antrocephalus mitys Walker (Chalcididae), Notoglyptus scutellaris Dodd &Girault and Homoporus fulviventris Walker (Pteromalidae), and Eurytoma rosae Nees (Eurytomidae).
