Abstract
In this investigation two plants; barley and soybean used to study the effect of the herbicide metolachlor the percent germination, changes in fresh weights dry weights and carbohydrate and nitrogenous constituents during germination and growth The influence of the herbicide was also studied on the activi ty of ex-amylase and protease, in treat uptake and assimilation including the activity of nitrate reductase amino acid uptake, accumulation into the total soluble and protein synthesis.
