Abstract

Load ~low and short-circuit analysis ia one o~ the basic
proble. is usually solved for sy..-trical systeMS having 3-phase
balanced g.neration ~nd loading. ”any ca.putar progra~ hava ~n
developed to solve thia proble. • Th~ progra.s ~r• based upon
~Il syst.- Rl&Ments <generators,transfor.ars,
tra~ission lines and loads> and considering that all of the.
This
explains why the load flow is usually studied in these programs
on single-phase basis. A considerabla a-ount of literature can
be found in this araa [ 1,2,13,20,28 l.
Tha sy~try of a power syste• as a whola is achieved only
through the ca.plate sy..etry of all systa. el~nts.
Tha sy ... try of generators is achieved thank• to the fact
that they are genrally designed with identical phases. This
results in inducing b~lanced •Iectra.otiv• forc•s in generator
phases.
The main r•ason of power syste• unsy.-etry is associated with
