Lesions were further subjected for detail gross and histopathological examinations. The occurrence of pulmonary lesions was 12,46%. The gross and histopathological examination of these lesions had revealed 80 (52.63%) pneumonia, 70 (46.6 %) hydatidosis and 2(1.31%) anthracosis. Pneumonia was classified according to histopathological finding into 47.5% were affected with suppurative bronchopneumonia, 40% with fibrinopurulent pneumonia, 10% with fibrinous bronchopneumonia and 2.5% with proliferative interstitial pneumonia. Microbiological isolation revealed presence of camel pathogens, such as Streptococcus species (30.47%), followed by Klebsiella pneumoniae (24.86%), Mannheimia hemolytica (12.38%), Pusteurella multocida (11.43%), Coagulase Negative Streptococci (9.52%), Mycoplasma species.
