Patients sharing in this study were randomly divided into two equal groups: Group I: Six patients in this group received implant supported mandibular overdenture retained by two pieces implant and locator attachment that were be placed in two stages surgical protocol. Group II: Six patients in this group received implant supported mandibular overdenture retained by one piece implant locator that were placed in one stage surgical protocol. All cases have been evaluated for bone height changes using Digora system and pocket depth changes around the implants using graduated periodontal probe at 0,6,12 months after loading. Data were collected, tabulated and statistically analyzed to compare between the two groups. |
