Abstract
Amethopterin is considered antineoplastic and antimetabolite chemotherapeutic agent, which exerts different mechanisms at different doses. Amethopterin has immunomodulatory antiproliferative and cytotoxic properities. But, unfortunately Amethopterin uses are limited even avoided in many patients because of its toxicity on healthy organs This study aims to declare the mischievous impact of Amethopterin on cardiac tissue. Also, to illustrate the hypothesis that L-Carnitine had ameliorating impact on cardiac tissue. And, to elucidate that hypothesis biochemical, histological and immunohistochemical investigation had been carried out.
