Abstract

The incidence of cesarean birth has increased dramatically in the last 25 years from less than 5% in 1965 to 22.9% in 2000. Maternal complications occur in 25% to 50% of cesarean births. So proper nursing care is a main factor in preventing and treating complications, after cesarean birth, especially when it is implemented according to nursing process. The main objective of the study was to determined of Effect Of Nursing Intervention Of Postpartum Complications With Different Types Of Anesthesia: An intervention design was conducted in menoufiya University Hospital in the department Of Obstetrics and Gynecology .The sample was non probability (convenient) sample consisting of (200) women who had cesarean birth The sample was divided into two groups study group (100) women was divided into (50) women who took general anesthesia (50)women took spinal anesthesia and control group (100)women was divided into (50)women who took general anesthesia (50)women took spinal anesthesia. The inclusion criteria were primigravida, primipara, singleleton pregnancy,20-40years old .Tool of this study included an interview questionnaire from and observation check list .the findings revealed that nursing intervention has effect on women health after different types of anesthesia .The result support the hypothesis The nursing intervention has decrease post partum complications associated with different types of anesthesia. It is recommended that the findings from this study could serve as a baseline for further intervention for cesarean birth.
