Introduction: In the modern era handicapped Became in interest of many
scientists of sport, especially after the recent Paralympic results in London. Amis:
The Current research aims to building the psychological profile scale of
psychological adjustment for Basketball players on wheelchairs. Method: The
researcher has used the descriptive method. Sample: 58 basketball players on
wheelchair Represent (64%) of the totality of the society of research. Results: the
most important dimensions for basketball players on wheelchair is social
adjustment with 83.2%, and the lowest important is emotional with 77.2%. there
are significant statistical differences between the responses of local and
international players in dimensions of Sport adjustment, emotional adjustment
and physical adjustment for the benefit of international players. There aren’t
significant statistical differences between the responses research members sample
in all dimensions of psychological adjustment of Basketball players on
wheelchairs according to the educational qualification. there are not significant
statistical differences between the responses research members sample in all
dimensions of psychological adjustment of Basketball players on wheelchairs
according to level of disability.
