Abstract The present study was conducted to examine the E. coli 0157:H7 in mice and induction of Cytokines on the transcriptional activity of the inflammation. The current study included two groups of mice. One group was treated as control group and injected by physiological saline while second group divided into six groups were injected by E. coli 0157:H7. Each group was composed of ten mice (n=10). All mice in the six replicates groups developed Haemorrhagic colitis. This was proved, after sacrificing the animals on different intervals of time (after 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hr and 7 days), through a series of molecular and histological investigations. However, the animals infected with bacteria showed some signs of illness that can be noticed exteriorly. To fulfill this aim, specific objectives were achieved. These objectives included: prediction of protein sequence for the studied induced inflammation related genes by sequencing the RT-PCR product and using BLAST tools in Gene bank website and other tools on other websites (expasy tools). |
