Abstract In this thesis, we present the design of a medical expert system that aim to provide the patient with background for suitable diagnosis and treatment for two heart diseases namely; Angina pectoris and Myocardial Infarction. Diagnosis depends on medical data of CAD (symptoms, investigation and treatment). In thesis, we propose a program which received the symptoms of patient for diagnosis and treatment of CAD. This thesis consists of six chapters:- Chapter 1:- propose introduction about thesis. Chapter2:-gives an overview on Expert system, Expert system shells, Explanation system, medical expert systems, and Coronary Artery Disease. Chapter 3:-introduces a new Design system for diagnosis and treatment CAD . Chapter 4:-proposes a Visual Prolog that use in CAD diagnosis and treatment Expert system. Chapter 5:- propose Statistical Analysis for 283 patients (202 men and 81women) with CAD were included. Chapter 6:- conclusions and future work. |
