Abstract

The present study was carried out examination of (2618) fecal sample from cattle and buffaloes of different ages and different sexes on different localatis (menouf , sirs el-layan) the recovered helminthes eggs (fashiola egg paramphistoma egg , toxocaravitulorum , trichstrongylid ova , monezia egg).
The infection was highest in spring.
The present study was carried out on 1527 animals (856 cattle, 671 buffaloes) of different ages and different sexes during the period of survey extended from July 2012 to July 2013 inMenofia governorate by examination of slaughtered animals.
Concerning to the cattle, buffaloes the recovered helminthsMoniezia , Carmyeriusgregarius Fasciola hepatica, FasciolagiganticaCarmyeriusgregariusNeoascarisvitullorum. In addition detailed morphological descriptions of the recovered helminths were included.
Experimental design to detect in vitro effect of plant extracts and some drugs on helminthes: Evaluation of some plant extract for the control of nematodal infection: it was concluded that the most effective plant extract against bovine gastrointestinal nematodes is Bitter lupine seed followed by lupine seed and then roselle respectively.
re-evaluation of some anti-helminthes:-
it was concluded that albendazole proved the most effective drug against ovine gastrointestinal nematodes followed by levamisole and then yomesan respectively. Also make study on life animal (75) by examination of fecal sample pre and post treatment.
