Abstract
In this chapter, an introduction was given which deals with the following fields of interest: classification of polymers, conjugated polymers, oxidative polymerization of aniline, electrochemical techniques of electropolymerization, electrochemical nature of steel corrosion, forms of corrosion of stainless steel, potential of zero charge, cyclic voltammetry, conductive polymer for corrosion protection, and literature survey on the protective effect of electropolymerized film on the corrosion of stainless steel. The aim of the work was also given in this part.
