Abstract
The thesis consists of three main chapters. Chapter I is the introduction, Chapter II represents the experimental techniques, and Chapter III contains the experimental results and their discussion. In this chapter an introduction was given which deals with the following fields of interest:Electrochemical nature of zinc corrosion, Potential of zero charge , Structure of the electrical double layer (E.D.L). Corrosion inhibitors and their classifications, Adsorption and adsorption isotherms. Literature survey on corrosion inhibition by eco-friendly green inhibitors, Literature survey on corrosion inhibition of zinc by chemical inhibitors and Aim of the work.
