Abstract

Conclusion : It is concluded that antioxidants plays a vital role in protecting tissues from excessive oxidative damage during aging as depletion of each of antioxidant systems increase the vulnerability of various tissue and cellular component to reactive oxygen species . It is conceivable that administration of specific antioxidant such as melatonin and vitamin E + selenium would be benefecial as it modulate antioxidant enzyme activity together with induction of favorable lipid profile so it may be helpfull tools for aged subjects .
Recommendation : Referring to the previous findings we recommended that aging individuals can be protected from any environmental agent that may induced radical generation through providing with adequete amount of natural antioxidants such as melatonin ,vitamin A , E , C and selenium in amount that may satisfy their requinnents or slightly exceeds that to encounter for the increased synthesis of free radicals under these prevaling condition.
