Abstract Availability of more combs’ area inside the hives of the healthy honeybee colonies positively reflect on their foraging activity and production of pollen, honey and brood. 2. The best site for the inserted combs was alongside the open brood combs. 3. Using recently drawn combs greatly help the bee colonies in maintaining a large area of brood free of diseases infestation like chalkbrood, American foulbrood and Nosema, and their produced honey never crystallize over a year. 4. Using pure beeswax foundations encourage the bees to draw them perfectly in short time with minimum deposited wax. 5. Drawing wax combs from pure beeswax foundations resulted in strong combs having significant resistance to disintegration and high loading capacity. 6. The favorable time to introduce the wax foundations in the bee colonies under Upper Egypt (Kom Ombo) conditions is February or June months, where the inserted foundations are quickly built and utilized in a proper manner by bees. 7. Insertions of the introduced foundation in between comb having stored food (honey and pollen) and other of brood greatly help in its construction and utilization in short period. 8. The individual introduce of the wax foundations as one by one much help in quick and ideal drawing than the collective introduce of these foundations. |
