Abstract
Increasing of population and traffic congestion in port said city leads to low efficiency of some important daily services which using the road network such as the process of collecting solid wastes and the emergency services (ambulance –police-fire bridge), so geographic information system (GIS) is become the main tool for solving many road problems using scientific methods to support decision makers to get flash decisions to solve such problems. by determining the optimum routes needed to reach the required destinations, using paths with the least cost by minimizing travel distance or drive time and finding the available alternative paths to avoid any sudden problem occurred on the road network.
