Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of cement thickness and cement type on stress distribution over implants retaining cantilever fixed prosthesis. Forty five three units fixed partial dentures replacing the two
maxillary premolars and first maxillary molar were fabricated where the
maxillary first molar was the cantilever abutment. The forty five fixed partial dentures were divided into three groups according to cement
thickness each group composed of fifteen fixed partial dentures.
