Abstract The current study was designed to investigate the effect of finishing / polishing procedures on color stability, surface roughness and topography of stained resin composite. In order to implement this study a total of 240 resin composite specimens was fabricated. The specimens were divided into two equal groups (n=120) according to two different commercial brands of resin composite selected i.e: microhybrid and nanofilled resin composite. Each group was randomly subdivided in to four subgroups (n=30) according to the type of surface treatment applied. Then each subgroup was further subdivided into two classes (n=15) according to the solution employed for specimens immersion ie: distilled water or coffee |
