Abstract The general conclusions are : 1- a review of published work has established that there is a need for investigating tyre dynamic parameters. 2- the availability of a dynamic tyre model suitable for incorporating into the general vehicle simulation program was investigated. 3- the existed tyre test rig has been development by recording the data in three direction and controlled by the computer. 4- in the theoretical work, three models were used. the first one is multi-radial-spoke tyre model. the second was formulated to be used for extracting tyre characteristics in transient. and the third model was used the influence of tyre characteristics parameters on the ride comfort parameters based on half vehicle model. 5- it has been found that the multi-radial-spoke tyre model, its present form has quite reasonable capabilities for the representation of the shear forces generated by a modern tyre through suitable parameter Choices. |
