Abstract
An Integrated Structural Environment ( ISE ) is developed for the entire course of drafting, analysis, design, and detailing processes. A user-friendly menu-driven interactive environment is used to input the structural layout, material properties, cross-sectional properties, and loadings. The data is automatically saved as a SAP90 input-data file format. Analysis and design of slabs, beams, columns, and footings are followed. Fully detailed drawings sheets are produced. The entire package is developed in Borland C++. ISE is verified through solution of several practical structures. The package proves to be extremely practical, versatile, and efficient.
