Abstract To print blend fabrics consisting of wool and acrylic fibers using only a single class of dyes which can build up on each of the fibers we may have recourse to two classes of dyes. 1- cationic dyes especially those designed for the coloration of acrylic fabrics. 2- disperse dyes in effect plastonsoluble dyes which are suitalble on acrylic fibers have quite inadequate fixation on wool and pigment systems which can be used for printing other blends are not very well adapted either for wool or acrylic fibers mixtures of two different classes of dyes are not in principle, recommended for this type of article. It should be pointed out that we are dealing here with acrylic fibers composed of at least 58% by weight of acrylonitrile untis –ch2- ch – cn. |
