Abstract This study revealed that, patient group of classical abdominoplasty has significantly highest mean duration till drain removal especially in obese patients. Seroma formation still only recorded in this plane of dissected patients. In early post operative period (up to 3 months), This group of patients wasn’t pleased by long hospital stay and downtime, later return to normal daily activity, prolonged edema formation and prolonged duration till drain removal. In contrary of that, the groups of patient with Scarpa’s fascia pereservation during abdominoplasty gave more satisfactory results, as they didn’t show any morbidity in there abdominoplasty, with the benefits of decreased down time, shorter hospital stay, faster return to work, rapid resolution of edema with faster body reshaping and contouring and earlier drain removal. |
