Summary
Introduction
Developments of the current era, especially in the more cognitive side Imposed more of the challenges and pressures on all educational institutions to become the requirements of this era is no longer more complex the goal of education is not the ability to save and memorization, but it requires the learner’s ability to think at higher level . In light of this change in the nature of mathematics and its role in targeting the principles and standards issued by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics improve the ability of students to learn school mathematics in a better way, through educational strategies which focused and interested in discovery, research and survey and critical thinking, problem solving and communication.
Problem of the research :
The research problem Summarized in a low level of critical thinking and achievement skills in elementary school
So there is a need to use modern teaching strategies such as writing strategy in order to learn to treat this problem, research problem can be formulated in the President next question:
What is The effect of using the writing strategy for learning in the teaching of mathematics on the development
of both the achievement and critical thinking among primary school students? .
The following sub-questions come out of this question,:.
1 - What is the extent to which primary school students of critical thinking skills?
2 - What is the effect of using a writing strategy for learning in teaching mathematics in the development of critical thinking to The primary school students? .
3 - What is the effect of using a writing strategy for learning in the teaching of mathematics in the development of Academic Achievement for primary school pupils? .
Objectives of the research .
The present research aimed to :
1 - Identification of critical thinking skills in math, which can be developed for primary school pupils .
2 - reveal the extent of the impact the writing strategy for learning in the development of some critical thinking skills among primary school students .
3 - Disclosure of the extent of the impact the writing strategy for learning in the development of Academic Achievement pupils

Importance of the research that may help:
1 - Students in the acquisition of some critical thinking skills in functional manner.
2 - Teachers of Mathematics in the knowledge of a new strategy to help in achieving some of the goals of mathematics and the development of teaching methods.
3 - Some researchers in addressing the writing strategy for learning in achieving other educational objectives.
4 - Curriculum planners in mind writing strategy for learning during the construction of the curriculum.
Find limits:
The present research is limited to the following limits:
1 - A sample of fourth-grade students from primary in some schools in El Fayoum Government, where the residence of the researcher and his work as well as the fourth-graders they have managed to writing skills in Arabic.
2 - The unit of measurement in the fourth grade the second semester.
Hypotheses of the research:
This research tried to test the validity of the following hypotheses:
1 - There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and control group in
Post application of the test grades for the experimental group.
2 - There is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and control group in
Post application to test the critical thinking in mathematics for the experimental group.
Methodology of the research:
The present research used: .
1 - descriptive analytical approach in survey studies and literature which addressed learning strategy in writing, and critical thinking in general and mathematics in particular.And in building study tools, namely achievement test, and test critical thinking, and a teacher’s book.
2 - experimental approach and is in the selection of the research sample and divided into two groups, experimental and control and apply tools of the study tribal to ensure equal groups before the experiment in the dependent variables, then apply Uday after teaching the unit which selected by using the strategy of learning to write and test significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group using some appropriate statistical methods.
The procedural steps of the research:
Research went according to the following steps:
1 - Conducting a survey of research and previous studies and educational literature in the writing strategy for learning and critical thinking in general In mathematics, in particular In the nature of primary school pupils.
2 - Preparation an initial list of critical thinking skills in mathematics which proposed its development and presentation to a group of arbitrators to be tuned to determine its validity.
3 - Preparation of achievement test in math and determine:
A - its sincerity during its presentation to a group of arbitrators to determine its validity of the application B –Calculation its stability through its application to a group of students.
4 - preparation test of critical thinking in math and determine:
A – its sincerity during his presentation to a group of arbitrators to determine the validity of the application.
B - Calculation its stability through its application to a sample of students.
5- Building a chosen unit in the light of the strategy in order to learn writing and critical thinking skills in mathematics
6 - Display Module selected group of arbitrators to determine its validity. 7 - Preparation teacher’s guide procedures proposed unit using the writing strategy for learning .
8 - Show teacher’s guide of selected unit to group of arbitrators to determine its validity.
9 – choosing a sample of fifth-grade students and divide it into two groups, one experimental and the other control
10 - Application of the achievement test and test critical thinking in mathematics tribal experimental and control groups and monitor the results and treat it statistically to determine the skills of low-critic. 11 - teaching a prepared unit in light of the writing strategy for learning for students in
the experimental group, and teaching in the usual way for students in the control group .
12- Application of the achievement test and test critical thinking Uday on experimental and control groups .
13- monitoring results and processed statistically and interpreted.
14 - make recommendations and proposals in the light of the outcome of the results of the search . Search is over to a number of results including:
1 - The presence of a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the results of students in Post application of the test grades for the experimental group. This confirms the correctness of First hypothesis
2 - The presence of a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the results of students in the application Posttest critical thinking skills for the experimental group.
3 - The use of the writing strategy for learning in teaching have a significant impact in the development of students’ achievement according to the reference table (large (0.8), average (0.5), small (0.2)) 4 - suggesting that the use of the writing strategy for learning in teaching have a significant impact in the development of critical thinking skills among students according to the reference table (large (0.8), average (0.5), small (0.2)
recommendations of the research: .
In light of the analysis and interpretation of the results of this research can provide some of the recommendations, which may be useful in the field unencumbered as follows:
- The need to develop programs and training courses for the training of primary school teachers on teaching strategies that proved current research and other empirical research to be
effective in teaching mathematics and developing critical thinking skills among students.
-The need to attention of compilers on the preparation of mathematics teacher education colleges using the writing strategy for learning as one of modern learning strategies in teaching methods and decisions implemented through micro-teaching and follow-up in the education process
- To draw the attention of curriculum based on math and writing books at all stages of education in general and primary education in particular to the importance of the development of critical thinking skills that deal with at the beginning of each unit and the following lesson:
Some critical thinking skills Altay can be developed.
Strategies and tactics that can be through development.
Techniques and methods of evaluating the performance of students in these skills .
- Attention of achievment file that includes activities and open a private written explanatory and discuss it with pupils.
- The need to work training workshops for teachers of mathematics on the criteria for the teaching and learning of mathematics globally and locally .
- Attention to the teaching of mathematics as a language as one of teaching and learning of mathematics and benefit from Standardsof communication process during the process of teaching and learning of mathematics.
- Taking advantage of the strategic use of detection Common mistakes of students during the teaching and learning of mathematics.
- The need for cooperation between mathematics teachers and all teachers in primary and special Arabic language teachers.
- The need to link mathematics primary to real problems in the lives of students and discussion it through interpretive writing activities and free for students because that achieving educational goals.
