Abstract

This research represents astudy of visco-elastic surfactant application in EOR and acid diversion.VES has the ability to build a viscous fluid through reaction with multi cation ions, that improves the sweep efficiency and oil productivity. A comparison betwwen VES and polymer flooding was conducted in four core plugs.oil recovery from VES flooding shows better results compared to polymer flooding.
