Abstract
The importance of nutrition and nutritional educat ion in maintaining adequate growth and development and in prevention of health problems is now generally re cognized better standards of nutrition had contributed to the reduction of mortality and momrbidity during childhoodpreiod.
The present work aimed at asessing kniwledge and practices of mothers regading artifical feeding planning and implementing nutrition education programme based upon theie needs as well detection its effects on growth and development of infants and the occurrence of diseases.
