Abstract
The present study deals mainly with the environmental impact of groundwater rising in ous city. This area is bounded by latitudes 25° 52´ 00´´ N and longitudes 32° 45´ 00´´ E, It lies to the east of the River Nile, Between Luxor in the south, Qift to the north and Aswan-Cairo road to the east.
