Abstract Summary and Conclusion The aim of this work was concerned with role of serum circulating lliicroRNA 21 as a novel non invasive biomarker in different stages of human breast cancer. This study was carried out on 40 subjects. They were classified into the following groups: ~ Group I: 30 breast cancer patients with different stages. ~ Group 11:10 healthy volunteers as a control group. I All subjects in the present study were subjected to the following: 1. History taking and clinical examination I 2. Laboratory workup: I a) Routine laboratory investigations: i. CBC,ESR. I I ii. Serum LDH. I ’iii. Determination of carbohydrate antigen (CA 15.3). b) Specific investigations for assessment of circulating micro RNA 21 (miR-21): By real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) for all subjects included in the pt;.esent study. |
