Abstract
Every day, women are slapped, kicked, beaten, humiliated, sexually abused, and even murdered by their partners. But often we do not hear about their violence, because women who are abused may feel ashamed, alone and afraid to speak out. This study was carried out to throw some light to identify causes and patterns of domestic violence toward pregnant women.
