Abstract It describes the reaction of 3-amino-5-hydroxy-4-phenylazo-1H-pyrazole with phencyl bromide gave 3-aminophencylpyrazole derivative, Subsequent ring closure in aceticacid anhydride yielded imidazol [1,2-b]pyrazol-6-ol . The condensation reaction of 3-amino-5-hydroxy-4-phenylazo-1H-pyrazole with benzenaldhyde gave arylidine hydrazone pyrazole . Heating 3-amino-5-hydroxy-4-phenylazo-1H-pyrazole with acetic anhydride in pyridine to obtain N-pyrazolacetamide. Similarly, N-pyrazolphenylcarbox- amide was prepared by the boiling of 3-amino-5-hydroxy-4-phenylazo-1H- pyrazole with benzoylchloride in presence pyridine |
