Abstract
The present thesis deals with the formation, structural, electrical and optical properties of some transition metal oxide nanoparticles, namely Cr2O3 and C0 2)4. it showes how their physical properties differ from those of their bulk counterparts. Chromium oxide (Cr2O3) and cobalt oxide (Co2O4) nanoparticles have been prepared by chemical precipitation followed by calcination at high temperature.
