Abstract
a) The purpose of the present thesis is to gain a better understanding of the behavior of laminar momentum and thermal boundary layers of the flow of viscous and incompressible fluids with temperature-dependent viscosity over a stretching sheet. The interest of such studies is to motivate a wide range of thermal engineering applications, such as drawing plastic films, paper production, glass fiber production and spinning of fibers.
