Abstract
The present investigation consists of three major parts. The first one was concerned with seasonally study of the algal diversity in the rhizosphere zone of 46 wild weeds naturally found in El-Karga Oasis at different eight sites, throughout the period of study (December,2010- September, 2011). The second part of this investigation concerned to study the effect of different concentrations of aqueous extract from shoots and roots for some dominant weeds on the algal diversity.
