Abstract behavior analysis of pile groups, rafts and piled rafts subjected to lateral and vertical loading as well as moments has been particular interest in geotechnical engineering. extensive research work has been performed in the past to investigate the behavior of piled raft. however the behavior of 3D-shear wall-structures rested on piled raft has not received as much attention. in this thesis, the behavior of 3D-shear wall-structures rested on piled raft on port-said subsoil was examined. shear walls were used here to resist lateral loads to control lateral displacements of top floors. |
