Abstract
Ovarian cancer is particlarly insidious in nature, often asymptomatic in its early stages and thus most patients have advanced disease at the time of diagnosis despite the achievements of high response rates with surgery followed by chemotherapy, 75% of women ultimately die of complications associated with disease progression.
