Abstract

Clinical nursing round is defined as teaching strategy that uses the patient’s bedside for direct, purposeful experiences. These experiences may involve demonstration, interview or discussion of patient problems and nursing care. Moreover, clinical nursing round has long been considered the most effective method to teach clinical and communication skills. Quality clinical nursing round requires understanding of the role,the knowledge, attitude and performance skills of the nursing demonstrator. Also it require to understand the student’s role, their experiences, and knowledge that they bring to clinical nursing round. As well as the external influences on the teaching-learning process. Also the nature of interaction between nursing demonstrator and nursing students. CNR interaction takes place in any field of clinical practice, in hospital ward, outpatient department, in age home, or community setting where student interact with patients.
