المستخلص Generally, economic and social development plans aim to increase the overall level of welfare of any society, and that comes by providing food and non-food consumer goods. so this consumption planning is considered a key factor to reach that welfare. consumption is particularly associated with individual income and its distribution on different aspects of spending. hence the importance of studying consumption patterns. (sayed el zuhairy, mahmoud abdel fattah, 1994) consumption is not an individual problem but it is a social problem because what we consume depends on what others consume. consumption is naturally a pattern of lifestyles. it is a humanitarian problem in which many humanitarian motivations intervene. therefore, most intervention studies are included in the fields of psychology and economics. (rabe nofal, 2007) pattern of consumption depends on the quality of information and habits and trends which have been formed rooted in individuals since childhood by daily practice, which shows the importance of nurturing the individual in terms of the freedom to take decisions related to everyday life economics (nawal ramadan, 1993). rationalizing consumption is a hot topic, it is a national imperative necessities that made by both developed and developing countries alike because it is an important factor for establishing the national economy. generally, rationalization whether in the food or other items of consumption is difficult because it requires conscious and change for many concepts and methods of behaviour and habits that are relevant. |
