Abstract
(Introduction): This chapter includes an introduction about ionic liquids, their history, characters and types which is used in different applications. One of the important applications is capture of carbon dioxide from natural gas by different ways.
Chapter II (Experimental):
This chapter includes chemicals, solvents, and scheme
of synthesis of hydroxyl amine lactate, imidazolium bis
(trifloromethyl sulfonyl) imide and imidazolium
tetrafloroborate compounds. Elemental analyzer Perkin Elmer
240C, Jeol-EX-270 MHz H1-NMR spectroscopy, Spectrum-
One Perkin-Elmer IR spectroscopy and JEOL JMS-AX500
Japan Mass Spectroscopy.
The synthesized ionic liquids used to capture of carbon dioxide
from natural gas using membranes and bubbling techniques.
Chapter III (Result and Discussion):
This chapter deals with the results and discussion of our
work which included:
• Synthesis of different ionic liquids and these
structures were confirmed using several tools of
analysis.
• These synthesized ionic liquids were used in
removal of carbon dioxide from natural gas, and
by using gas chromatography we could make sure
that they have high efficiency in carbon dioxide
capture.
• Synthesized ionic liquids can be recycled and
using again with high efficiency
