Abstract Our study was carried out to assess the capability of Cyanobacterial algal species, Nostoc mUSCOl7lm, to grow perfectly in three types of synthetic medium (BG 11). These types of wastewater were Secondary Treated Sewage Wastewater (STSW), Industrial Wastewater (IW), and Agricultural Waste water CA W). Media were investigated separately (sterilized (S) and non-sterilized (NS)) and mixed with 50% BG 11 (50%). The effects of these three media on the growth parameters, total contents of pigments, phenolic compounds, phytochemical compounds, antioxidant, antiradical and antiviral activities, and the toxicity of N. muscorum were studied. |
