Chapter One : Theoretical Part
Shawl supplements uniforms important for women because it can be used in
different ways and colors are numerous and well used shawl for heating or for
decoration or to revive uniforms Old So seeking a researcher to the possibility
of combining the authenticity of Islamic Art and the data the modern era to
make designs for Shawl Women motifs inspired by Islamic decoration to
maintain the heritage Islamic order to face the strange ideas that creeps quickly
to the entire world under the umbrella of globalization and the concept of the
world a small village and try to control and dominate all concepts so lies the
importance of research in the preservation of identity and consolidate social
values reviving Islamic heritage, also contributes to this research to increase the
cultural awareness of our heritage Islamic rich through the implementation of
the shawl designs using decorative units of Mamluk Egypt and the Safavid Iran
and different techniques including hand embroidery, crochet, printing, Patch
work
These included the second quarter on the definition of decoration originated
units decorative motifs, animal and plant engineering, clerical and Islamic art
and its origins and standards underlying factors that have influenced the
characteristics of Islamic art and then talk about the Mamluks and the origin of
the Mamelukes and the conditions in the Mamluk era arts and crafts and its
association with decorations Mamluk Egypt and then touched upon the
Safavids the origin and conditions in the Safavid era, arts and crafts and its
relation to the Safavid decoration.
