Abstract
A sample of 50 nurses form the nursing personal working in differenr maternal and child health centers family planing centers out patient clinics affiliated to different maternity hospitals andhealth offices were studided.
The pre requisites were that participants did not receiveany type of training before were angaged in family planinig activities and were willing to attend the programme.
All had the same basic education to ensure a homogenous grop.
The programme was implemented in Dar Esmaeel mater nity hospial in Alexandria city.
The teaching methods utilized in the programme were demostration discussion lecture followed by discussion seminar workshop role planin.
