Abstract

This thesis is focusing on the effect of the induction motor parameters variation with field orientation on the performance characteristics.
its important is due to two points;g and full load at constant flux region and constant power region.
Some previous researches studied the field oriented control considering all parameters constant neglecting the existence of core loss resistance. This thesis takes into consideration the core loss resistance, skin and temperature rise effects on thr rotor parameters to give high accuracy in thr performance, calculations.
This study achieves advantages of field oriented control compared with scalar control which had been considered conventional methods of control, not only at the rated voltage but also at a different frequency in constant flux region and field weakening region. In this study the load characteristics and run up characteristics of induction motor employing the field orientation are compared with the correponding characteristics in the comnebtional method.
Effect of an error in some parameters such as stator and rotor resistances and rotor reactance on thr performance characteristics of induction motor with field orientation is explained.
Here, the study investigates the mismatching between the values of the parameters in the modeling and the actual values of these through the operation of the machine.
