Abstract
the present study covers a survey of the scale insect and mealy bugs associating with eleven species of deciduous and evergreen fruit trees as well as their natural enemies (parasitoids and predators) in six localities at the westem north coast of egypt . these localities representde three types of irrigtion system;the study also contained bioecology and dynamical fluctuation of five scale insects.the chosen localities were burg el-arab,merghem and coastal ridge (30-35km at coastal west of alexandria)which represent eain-fed system; lkingi-mariur area which represents semi-arid system and bahig and el-hammam which represent irrigation system.
