Abstract Studies on resource assessment of row material show that, there are many agriculture waste raw materials available to be used as adsorbent material. Does are usually present in trace quantities in the treated effluents of many industries. The effectiveness of adsorption for dye removal from waste water has made it an ideal alternative to other expensive treatment methods and the adsorption process is very fast and is physical in nature. In view of these facts, we were investigated in thesis to determine the effects of condition such as initial concentration (25 to 125 mg/1), ph (2 to 12), temperature (30 to 60 c) adsorbent dose (0.50 to 1.50 gm/l) and particle size (0.05 to 0.50 mm) have been investigated, using a batch adsorption technique to obtain information on treating effluents from the dye industry. The adsorption propertied of queous solution of methylene blue (MB), on grinding salex leaf ( GSL), have been investigated by means of UV-visible spectroscopy. |
