Abstract

Tumour Necrosis Factor alpha (TFN-a) is proved to be an important cytokine an regulation of hepatic fibrosis due to schistosomiasis.There is persistent nse of TN F-a m circulation m cases of hepatic fibrosis.It has a Larval killing effect and is considered one of the primary recruiters of cellular aggregation in granuloma growth. TN F-a is needed also lor egg Laying and excretion ti’om the host in schistosomiasis.
