In greenh~use experiments sone oxo6anophosphoxous,

in roots and soil.
B- Benomyl and mancozeb at .rate of )00 and )50 gXi.lm’

in root and soil. The infected plant (tomato and egg
-plants) t.reated’ ,,.ith both benom,l and mancoze b showed.
a corxelation bet\reen the growth of plants and the .reduction
in nematode population in soil.in root system
and also root gall index.
c- Higher dose of each nematicides were ~re effective

D- The reduction in nematode population differs according
to the host pJa nt used while, aldica.r b V.~a.s the best
in tomato and pepper while phenami.puoe wa.s the best in
contxolling nematodes in egg-plant, but in cowpea and

potatoes oxamyl was the best.
E- Tested pesticides gave their hiGhest er re ct when
added to soil at planting.
