Abstract The elastic and inelastic scattering of light heavy ions (LHI) had been understood. The Knowledge of the nucleus-nucleus interaction potential is a key for the analysis of various reactions between nuclei. from the phenomenological studied of light ions scattering, it is known that the major part of the nuclear interaction potential can be approximated by a Woods-Saxon (WS) form which gives a simple analytical expression, parameterized explicitly by the depth, the radius, and diffuseness of the potential well. The WS real potential combined with an imaginary part of the same radial shape, or of a slightly modified shape, forms the optical model potential. |
