Abstract
The aim of this study is to establish a scientific body of knowledged upon which definitive guides for improvement of the practice of nursing care of infants suffering from gastro enteritis can be based.
This was through:
Planning and administration of a specially adjusted program of nursing care to infants suffering from gastro enteritis in which the accopanyig relatives of these infants participated.
Evaluation of the effect of this program on a sample of infants admitted to the university pediatric hospital at shatby in the city of alexandria.
