Abstract Aim of the Study Evaluate the effectiveness of soft tissue augmentation procedures using the modified roll flap in transforming thin gingival biotype into a more stable thick biotype. Conclusion Based on the findings of the present work, the following could be concluded: 1- Thin peri-implant gingival biotype is more liable to recession few months after the abutment connection. 2- Soft tissue augmentation using MRF is an effective and feasible method for transforming thin peri-implant biotype into a thick one. 3- Thick peri-implant gingival biotype would be the best guarantee to high esthetic outcome for the dental implant restoration than thin gingival biotype. |
